REC.CREA is an audiovisual production company based in Mexico City, focused on narrative, documentary and editorial formats for films, platforms and brands. With an emphasis on story and visual intention, we develop projects that connect cinematic language with the needs of contemporary audiences and clients.
Led by producer and director Johan Verhook, REC.CREA works with a trusted network of cinematographers, sound recordists, producers and creatives, assembling teams tailored to each production. We operate across Mexico and internationally, collaborating as a flexible, clear and reliable production partner from development through delivery.

REC.CREA is Led by Johan Verhook, producer and director.
Johan is a 36‑year‑old audiovisual director/producer of Venezuelan and Italian nationality. He currently lives in Mexico City.
Johan started out as a director at the age of 18 and has almost two decades of experience in different film, television, music video and web content projects. He has taken on the role of director of photography many times, as well as co‑producer on multiple projects. Over the course of his career, he has worked on productions in Mexico, the United States, England, Argentina, Colombia, Haiti and Venezuela.
The original content he has directed has reached more than 25 million views on YouTube.
